Proxy Titanium Construction includes the following:

proxy epoxy composite :::

ultra-lightweight epoxy “fusion core” . premium grade s-glass . one/two color airbrush included. (check out the airbrush gallery below to see recommended colors for your included airbrush)

kevlar compression patch :::

kevlar is five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis . increases compression strength whilemaintaining the positive flex characteristics.

carbon reinforced rails :::

The carbon used to reinforce the rail lap matrix is woven in a specific pattern/gauge ideally suite for maximum performance & strength.

parabolic stringers :::

parabolic “super flex” technology combined with carbon reinforced rails/perimeter.

Todd will detail the board construction with you during the ordering process to dial you into the right options for you based on your needs and budget. Feel free to mix-n-match & combine various upgrade options.

Below are examples of the PROXY TITANIUM Series airbrush color options which you can add for $40. Each board is pictured with one or more of the three TITANIUM Series upgrades: Kevlar compression patch, Carbon Hinge Flex-tail, Carbon Rails. The yellow/green of the Kevlar and black of the Carbon is visible on the finished board, as pictured, as it is laminated onto the board over the airbrushed blank. We now use a unique blend of resins that yields an ultra-white uv stabilized aesthetic, so airbrushing is not necessary, but is still available as an add-on.

Proxy composite care & ding repair

Care for your Proxy surfboard simply consists of keeping it watertight; ie. If you do get a ding, just allow it to dry out and then repair it with epoxy resin, or if you take it to a shop to repair, make sure you let them know to use epoxy resin. That’s it. Also, use the same common sense care you would for a polyester board, just don’t leave it laying in the sun. If you have any questions, let us know.
