shaper breakdown

For those of you who like the Monsta, this is a high performance shortboard counterpart to that design. I’ve kept the rocker and bottom contours the same as that of the Monsta….so same speed, same positive flow…The outline, rail volume and deck foil is more “shortboardy, but with the wide point moved slightly forward & a bit fuller nose outline than a standard “needled out” perfect waves shortboard. The rails are less full than that of the Monsta; more pulled down, but boxy in shape.
You ride this board 1 – 2 inches shorter, about a 1/4 inch wider, & the same thickness as your “shortboard for perfect waves”.
A great all-around high performance shortboard that doesn’t require perfect waves to feel perfect under your feet.

Optional upgrades…

5 fin install & fins to ride as quad/thruster at an additional $45.

Welcome to the dynamic world of spring-loaded rocker; a board that self-adjusts its rocker to fit the changing curve of the wave. Todd & Nick explain.
